2003 was the year of authenticity and co-creation, when we were to open up more to our true selves and realize how we co-create. We also were to step back from polarities and choose what we wanted for our reality, releasing fears and moving into more of a state of grace. There has been some movement in these areas, but not quite enough.

The past year has been another rollercoaster ride for us. We have seen the capture of Saddam Hussein, war in Iraq, ongoing battles in the Middle East, A.I.D.S. continues to be the largest killer and yet treatment is being withheld from the nations who need it the most, like Africa. Children are left orphaned and in poverty. We saw another space shuttle explode. There are new diseases and with them have come lots of new fears. In the past year I think I've read about more men killing their wives or ex-wives and families - murdering their own children just for spite, for control; to punish rather than peacefully and lovingly find solutions, and most importantly to accept positive change. Pay attention to what is being pushed by the media. Is this your choice of reality?

The earth is going through massive shifts physically and many, many lives have left this planet. We saw fires ravage Southern California, floods, quakes in Iran and central California. Clearly, things are being shaken up much more, indicating that we still have room for understanding our co-creation with nature and that change doesn't have to be disasterous. We are seeing how responsibility plays an ever-increasing role globally and locally. Buildings all over the world can be brought up to PRESENT safety codes so lives can be saved and buildings not turned into rubble. We can stop pretending the earth is not part of our lives and start listening to what it's telling us. How we eat is also changing. If we are to continue to eat meat, we MUST give animals healthy food and less drugs. Our water must be cleaned up.

There comes a time when some people become lucid in this dream/fantasy of life. They realize that they must be self-responsible for what they're creating and most of the stuff in the world are merely distractions from our Selves, our Soul, our Essence (what's really important). And indeed, they were created exactly to be that! Television shows, rag magazines, wars, even money, all these things that are pushed, like a drug, over and over to make it appear as though that's all that matters. In that way people become more separated and that is when all hell breaks loose. As a lucid dreamer, one becomes AWARE of the dream and is in complete charge and can change what occurs next. We are at a time in our evolution when this is extremely important - NOT to fall back into old habits and patterns, but to create something totally new. This will come about when more people see through the veils, and become self-responsible as creators, not in resistence and force, but in trust. Our future depends upon this new shift.

It all comes down to what do we want to do in the PRESENT. All that we have is right NOW. The past, present and future are all happening NOW. This is not the time to dwell only in the past, where life might have felt safer or happier. Nor think only of the future, perhaps with apprehension or hope - "I'll be happy when...." No. NOW is what matters. No longer does it serve us to sit on our duffs and procrastinate, "Oh, that can wait until tomorrow." We may not be here tomorrow. Our loved ones may not be here tomorrow. Our planet may not be the same tomorrow. Being all that we can be happens right NOW, not tomorrow. Respecting and helping others matters right NOW. Let our light shine NOW. Being your higher self NOW. Following your passion NOW. Let go of our excess baggage NOW. Focus on what is truly important and do what we do with a full heart.
